Barend Houtsmullers book 'The Other Side of the Light' has been published in Europe and the USA.
These images are created in the period 1978-1984. Most of them are Infrared pictures. The title refers to the invisible spectrum of IR. Many of these pictures have been acquired by musea and private collectors via galleries.
The famous Dutch writer Thomas Verbogt (Nijmegen, 1952) has written a short novel as a preface in the book.
